K-9 killed after it attacks handler, police say
A police K-9 was killed after it attacked its handler Friday while serving a search warrant.
An officer shot the dog after it bit its handler on the hand around 12:30 p.m., Garen Bynum, police spokesman, told KWTX.

The injured handler was taken to a hospital.
Officers did not gain entry into the house until several hours after the dog was killed, the Waco Tribune reported.
