Kidnapped girl returns after 18 years
Jaycee Lee Dugard was abducted 18 years ago in South Lake Tahoe, Calif. Dugard, who was snatched as an 11-year-old child in 1991 turned up Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, after being held for the past 18 years in isolation in a backyard compound in Antioch, Calif. by a convicted sex offender who fathered two children with her, police said.
