An Ohio teenager returning home Friday noticed the sliding glass door to his home was shattered. But instead of a ransacked home, the boy found a large billy goat asleep in the bathroom.
According to dispatchers in Sullivan County, the goat trotted into the home after breaking the glass at the Sullivan Township home and ventured into the bathroom, WJW reported.
The homeowner saw the incident unfold through the house's security camera, the television station reported.
According to authorities, the goat had been missing from his home for several days, WJW reported.
Officials from the Humane Society of Ashland County came to the home and worked with Ashland County Sheriff's deputies to rouse the goat and coax it out of the bathroom.
Working in tandem, Humane Society officials and deputies led the goat out of the house and put it into a large dog cage, WJW reported.
