Four people are dead after gunfire erupted early Sunday at a bar in Kansas City, Kansas, police said. Police have arrested one of two suspected gunmen in the shooting, which authorities said stemmed from an earlier dispute.

According to WDAF-TV, five other people were hurt in the shooting, which occurred about 1:30 a.m. at the Tequila KC Bar on Central Avenue, Kansas City police said. All five are in stable condition, KSHB reported.

Update 4:15 p.m. EDT Oct. 8: The four victims in the shooting were identified by Chief Michael York in a news conference Monday, CNN reported. They are Martin Rodriguez-Gonzalez, 58; Francisco Anaya-Garcia, 34; Alfredo Calderon, 29; and Ebar Meza-Aguirre, 29.

All victims were Hispanic men. Two were Mexican nationals, Mexico's minister of foreign affairs, Marcelo Ebrard, said on Twitter Sunday.

Update 4:22 a.m. EDT Oct. 7: Police have arrested one of two suspects sought in connection with a deadly Sunday shooting at a bar in Kansas City, Kansas.

According to WDAF and KMBC, authorities arrested Javier Alatorre, 23, on Sunday afternoon in Kansas City, Missouri.

The second suspect, Hugo Villanueva-Morales, 29, "is still at large and should be considered armed and dangerous," police said in a news release early Monday.

Alatorre and Villanueva-Morales each face four counts of first-degree murder and $1 million bond, the release said.

Update 2:05 p.m. EDT Oct. 6: Police said they were going through surveillance video at the bar to determine what happened. Police said two gunmen entered the bar and began shooting, The Kansas City Star reported.

“We’re trying to speak with the various witnesses that we have here trying to get stories kind of straightened out and put everything together so that we can get a good suspect description and catch these guys,” Officer Tom Tomasic, a spokesman with the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department, said Sunday. “We believe there were two suspects who came in and began firing.”

Tomasic said he believed the shooting was "not random."

"We do not believe it was random," Tomasic told the Star. "We do believe it was an isolated incident. We don't feel that these suspects are going to go out and do this again."

Update 11:25: a.m. EDT Oct. 6: Kansas City police said the four people who were killed died inside the bar, according to The Kansas City Star. The five people injured were shot and fled the bar, at least one running to a nearby park, the newspaper reported.

According to WDAF, investigators said all the victims are Hispanic males. One was in his late 50s, one was in his mid-30s and two were in their 20s, the television station reported.

Update 9:44 a.m. EDT Oct. 6: Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas, who said he visited with a physician at the University of Kansas Hospital, tweeted about the shooting early Sunday.

"Hate to see an incident like this last night (early AM). My heart goes out to all victims and all touched by last night's shooting," Lucas tweeted.

Update 9:04 a.m. EDT Oct. 6: While the victims have not been identified, Juan Ramirez, of Kansas City, Kan., told The Kansas City Star his 29-year-old nephew was among those killed. Ramirez said his family was searching for another relative, the newspaper reported.

Ramirez told the Star his nephew had "nothing to do" with the shooting.

“We’re just in shock and disbelief," Ramirez told the newspaper.

Authorities have yet not arrested the suspect, CNN reported.
