Actor and singer Jack Black has helped make his fans' dreams come true.
During a stop in Nashville over the weekend, Black and singer Jack White apparently hit the recording booth, The Tennessean reported.
It's a match made in music heaven that fans of both Black and White have been asking for since the 1990s, wanting the duo to be called Jack Grey, NME reported.
The two entertainers met for the first time in 2006, but had not recorded together, until now, NME reported.
Black made the announcement during his gig with his band Tenacious D, at Ascend Amphitheater, The Tennessean reported.
The song is expected to be released through White's label Third Man Records, Black said, according to The Tennessean.
No details, including what song or who is actually performing on it have been released, NME reported.
This isn't the first time singers have done special recordings with White. Third Man Records has produced one-off recordings when performers visit Nashville. The Nashville recording studio opened in 2009. The original location was in Detroit and opened in 2001.
