A 17-year-old boy was shot by a group of men while trying to sell an Xbox in a Houston neighborhood early Monday, police said.
Houston police responded around 12:18 a.m., KHOU reported. The boy was shot twice in the arm, police said.
Police believe the teen and another male went to sell the game console. As they waited for the buyer to arrive, they were approached by another group of men, KTRK reported. Police said it was not clear if the shooter was the person who was supposed to buy the game, or whether it was someone else, the television station reported.
"We think it was an online sale. They were going to meet someone there to sell the Xbox. We don't know at this point if it was related to the online sale or something else," Houston Police Department spokesman Lt. Larry Crowson told KTRK.
