A 1920s mansion in Seattle's Madison Park was loaded up on a barge this week for its move to nearby Bainbridge Island.
The 1923 mansion was once restored at a cost of $6 million, but most recently sold for $850,000. The 6,200 square-foot house weighs 400 tons.
The 4-bedroom house features silk paneled walls, a massive glass skylight, white oak moulding and trim, hardwood floors and iron railings, according to the website listing for Nickel Brothers, a house moving and lifting company in Washington.
The mansion began its journey on Wednesday and is expected to arrive at its destination sometime Thursday.
