Grieving family outraged after finding wrong body in mother's casket

CHICAGO – A family preparing for their mother's burial is outraged. The funeral home believes it mistakenly gave her body to another family, who may have buried her last week, according to HotTopics.tv.
Monique Williams says her mother’s burial was planned for last Friday. Minutes before guests arrived, Williams says she noticed the body the funeral home presented was not her mother.
“Saw this person and said, ‘This doesn’t look like my mother.’ My brother said, ‘Sure don’t.’ My aunt said the same thing,” Williams said.
After bringing out another incorrect body, the funeral home admitted the woman may have been buried last week by another family. The body has since been exhumed.
Williams will need to positively identify it. The funeral director says he accepts full responsibility for the mistakes.
