A great white shark was recently spotted 4 miles off the coast of Atlantic Beach, Florida.
Researchers spotted the shark during aerial surveys last month.

During a right whale aerial survey last month, researchers saw this white shark swimming southeast approximately four nautical miles off Atlantic Beach, FL. Aerial surveys ended March 31, and we will be sharing more photos and final season numbers later this week!
The FWC Fish and Wildlife Research Institute is expected to share more photos and final numbers from the season this week.
