A great-grandfather is proving that age really is just a number by showing off his dance moves at his 100th birthday party.

Morris Rovick, known as Swede to friends and family, celebrated his 100th birthday with his loved ones in Charleston, South Carolina on Sunday. He officially turns 100 on Dec. 17.

A video shared by his family shows Rovick dancing along to Earth, Wind and Fire’s “September.”

“He always loves to dance,” Michele Bayme, his nephew’s wife, told Hot Topics. “He’s always the first one on (the) dance floor at parties.”

In his 100 years, Rovick has seen a lot, living through the depression and a World War. Despite his age, Rovick still insists on living on his own and going to work every day. He helps his two sons run the family business, George’s Loan & Music Co.

“Everyone knows him and loves him,” Bayme said. “He’s a card.”

Rovich lost his wife, Dora, this year.

“He called Aunt Dora his bride to her dying day,” Bayme said.

Rovich isn’t planning on slowing down any time soon. Bayme said he told his guests, “See you at my 125th birthday!”
