The Humane Society of Charlotte is caring for 14 puppies found abandoned on the side of the road.

The organization posted video on its Facebook page of the puppies.

WSOC-TV was told a good Samaritan found the puppies in a box on the side of the road and brought them to the shelter.

Workers there said they need formula and bottles to help feed the litter. Donations were also needed for puppy pads and blankets.
