The Golden Globe nominees have been announced. Those who are tops in television and movies will be honored by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association on Jan. 5.

Some big names in the music world are up for awards this year including Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Elton John, all competing for best original song, The Associated Press reported.

Jennifer Lopez is up for a Golden Globe in her supporting role in "Hustlers," the AP reported.

Leading the pack of nominations is "Marriage Story" starring Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson with six nominations. Netflix is dominating the awards show with 17 total nominations across the categories, the AP reported.

“Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood” is second with the most nominations with five, while “The Irishman” has four.

The show will be hosted by Ricky Gervais and Dylan and Paris Brosnan, the children of James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan, are the Golden Globe Ambassadors.

Ellen DeGeneres will receive the 2020 Carol Burnett Award. Tom Hanks has been named the winner of the 2020 Cecil B. DeMille Award.
