It may be the best worst night of sleep Heather Quinn ever has.

The 19-year-old hopped into her younger sister's bed for no apparent reason Thursday morning, which is rare for her, but her parents are thankful that she did it.

A 100-year-old tree in the Woden, Texas, family's yard collapsed on the house. Heather would've been directly in its path had she stayed in her bed.

Miraculously, none of the home's six residents—five of whom were home—were hurt.

The family's pre-school aged grandson was in the middle of the room when it happened. Despite being close to the accident, he was only shaken up and sustained no physical injuries.

Heather's mother, Oleta Quinn, had just gotten back from sending her son to school and was on the home's first level when she heard the large thud.

"That's when the rumble come and you just heard him blood curdling scream," Oleta Quinn said to local TV station KTRE.

The father, Wayne Quinn, checked on everyone to make sure they were safe shortly after the incident, he said.

The house was built in 1923, according to the TV report.

There was no indication that the tree toppled as a result of lightning or wind, but the ground was wet and saturated from recent rain storms, said Terry Drewery, the owner of Drewery Tree Service.
