Florida woman repeatedly hit man in head with hammer in dispute over pork chop, officials say

A Florida woman repeatedly hit a man in the head with a hammer Sunday over a dispute about a pork chop, investigators said.

Officials said Jesseca Daniele Hardy, 32, hit the man in the head and face with a hammer, causing swelling to his eye and lips, WKRG reported.

Hardy was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, according to jail records. She is being held in the Escambia County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.
