The town of St. Petersburg isn't waiting for a SCOTUS decision on gay marriage.

The Florida town is in th middle of St. Pete Pride.

On Thursday the police department hoisted gay pride and American flags together to mark the occasion.

The highly anticipated ruling on gay marriage from the Supreme Court is expected as early as Friday.
