Two teens were injured when they were hit by a city truck while sunbathing at Atlantic Beach on Saturday morning.

Officials said a city park ranger was emptying garbage cans along the beach around 9:45 a.m. and didn't see two girls laying in the sand.

He hit them with his truck and one girl got stuck underneath it. The tires did not run over the girls, according to officials.
