Leonard Olsen Jr., 70, of Lakeland, was going nearly 100 mph and told troopers he had the cruise control activated on his Cadillac and took the opportunity to praise God, WTVT reported.

"The car drives itself and has a gigantic computer in it," Olsen told troopers, WTSP reported. "I thought it would be a nice way to praise God for a minute, and I thought it would be nice at the time, and that's what I did."

Olsen was arrested and charged with reckless driving, according to jail records. Olsen was also charged with domestic violence in connection with an unrelated incident.
