A longtime diver managed to get video of a 16-foot great white shark he spotted off Jupiter this morning.
According to our news partners at WPTV NewsChannel 5, John Dickinson was spear-fishing for cobia in about 130 feet of water about a mile off shore when the shark appeared.
Dickinson caught the encounter on video, and posted it online. “It’s something you never forget,” he told WPTV. “I had some people posting, ‘Glad it was you, not me.”
Unlike a more popular great white, like Katharine, this one wasn't tagged.
