New Smyrna Beach firefighters recently rescued 11 ducklings from a storm drain.
Officials said the ducklings were trapped in a storm drain on Greenlawn Street. Residents alerted firefighters who were in the area.
When the firefighters arrived on scene, they found the mama duck acting upset outside the storm grate.
Firefighters were able to access the storm drain using a ladder and rescue the 11 ducklings. After the rescue, the ducklings scurried off with mama.
