A Texas firefighter stopped a potential dangerous situation in its tracks.
Police were called to a gas station when a man tried to rob the clerk.
But it was only an attempt, thanks to Daniel Gaskey, KFOR reported.
Gaskey, a former Marine, jumped into action, detaining Dylan Bearden until police arrived.
Police said Bearden pulled a knife before Gaskey forced him to the ground, KFOR reported.

Bearden was arrested for aggravated robbery.
