A man traveling from New York City to Palm Beach was detained after the FBI said he punched a flight attendant and threatened to blow up the aircraft.
Alija Kucuk, 29, was using verbal epithets and racial slurs before threatening to blow the plane up, Jet Blue employee stated to the FBI, according to AP. The AP report posted on WRBG, added that Kucuk pushed a flight attendant into a door and "punched him in the face" and yelled "he would blow up the plane,"'
Kucuk, who is from Middle Village in Queens, N.Y., was detained after the flight and charged with interfering with a flight attendant and threatening to destroy an aircraft.
