An elementary school in Michigan has added a furry friend to its staff -- a 2-year-old golden retriever, Lab mix named CC.
CC's job title is comfort dog for the South Elementary School in Grandville, WXMI reported.
CC will be responsible for helping calm any student who is anxious or stressed out. But she'll also have other duties, ones that can be used by all students at the school.
CC was brought to the school thanks to fundraisers and local sponsors. No money from the school's budget was used to get CC on the staff. She will live as a pet at one of the teacher's homes when she's not on the job, WXMI reported.
