Witnesses are calling an unidentified 81-year-old woman a hero for helping to stop an armed robbery.
Oklahoma City police tell Newsok.com, a man walked into a Family Dollar, claimed he had a gun, and demanded cash. The suspect's face was said to be covered.
The older woman didn't like what she was seeing, so she walked over to the man and began hitting him with her purse and hands.
Plus, she exclaimed, "Oh no, you are not robbing them," according to police.
The suspect took a step back and eventually left the store with nothing, after the employee couldn't get the register open.
Police say the woman also took off before officers could arrive. The woman told one of the witnesses she had other things to do.
So far, the suspect hasn't been arrested.
