A Good Samaritan was pinned between cars while helping another driver on Interstate 5 in Washington Thursday.
The Washington State Patrol said the victim stopped to help the driver of a car with a flat tire on the shoulder of northbound I-5 north of Burlington, and pulled in behind the disabled car.
A third car crashed into the back of the Good Samaritan’s car, pinning him between the two cars.
Trooper Mark Francis said the driver of the third car was looking down at his cellphone when he crashed.
The victim has non-life-threatening injuries.
