According to the Kansas City Star, Grandview police Officer Chris Golubski tried to pull over a green Ford Explorer on Sunday afternoon because the driver did not appear to be wearing his seat belt. When Golubski turned on his police lights, the vehicle accelerated. After a brief chase, the SUV spun out of control and rolled several times, ejecting the driver into a ditch.

The video shows Golubski, who believed the driver was still inside the SUV, approach the vehicle. That's when he saw the driver lying in a ditch, struggling to breathe, WDAF-TV reports.

Golubski quickly began working to save the man's life with the help of a passing nurse, Kristine Killiam, according to the Star.

Golubski continued the compressions until the driver, identified by police as Michael Hunter-Moore, came around. According to KMBC, Hunter-Moore was taken to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition. He was cited for driving with a revoked license, failure to yield and not wearing a seat belt, police said.
