Duane Chapman of A&E’s “Dog the Bounty Hunter” unexpectedly lost his younger sister, Jolene Kay Martinez of Denver, Colo.

Martinez died unexpectedly from complications of pneumonia and was taken off life support Monday night, according to a release.

Jolene is survived by her two children and three siblings.

"Jolene was a very strong Christian, and I am absolutely positively sure she's in heaven right now," said Duane Chapman. "But in Hawaii we don't say 'goodbye,' we say 'Aloha Oe…until we meet again,' and I know I will see my sister, again, which gives all of us some comfort at this very sad time."

Chapman and his wife Beth are headed to Denver to arrange her services.

Martinez was 62.
