The results are in and it really was a chicken tender.
A few days ago, a California man claimed a Kentucky Fried Chicken fried a rat and served it to him claiming it was a chicken tender. He of course posted the photo online and it went viral on social media.

But as ABC News reported, the meat was sent for testing at an independent lab and the results came back that the food in question was a chicken tender and not a rat as the customer claimed.
In the post, the customer, claimed he spoke to the restaurant's manager who agreed it was indeed a rat and apologized.
Devorise Dixon has reportedly refused to speak directly with KFC, WTVR reported, and has not return requests by ABC News to speak with him.
