Students were kept after the dismissal bell after an impromptu appearance by an alligator at a Florida school Thursday.
A trapper was called to Geneva Classical Academy in Lakeland, Florida, to snare a nearly 10-foot-long alligator.
Students were kept in their classrooms as the trapper wrangled the reptile.
"Our students received a good Polk County education today: how to trap a nine foot, 11-inch gator," the school posted on Facebook.
Other videos of the capture were also posted to Facebook.
