2 dead, 1 injured after shooting at Houston nightclub

Two people were killed and another person was injured in a shooting outside a Houston nightclub early Sunday, authorities said.

According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly after 2 a.m., KTRK reported.

Police said a fight inside the nightclub had carried on outside, culminating in the shooting, which left one man and one woman dead, KPRC reported.

The third victim was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition, according to KTRK.

Police said an investigation is ongoing.
