Confederate flag debate between protesters ends with hug

While South Carolina state leaders are working to remove the Confederate flag from a monument near the State House, protesters on both sides of the debate also meet near the Capitol.

One of the latest clashes between those for the removal of the flag and those who want it to remain ended - with a hug.

CONFEDERATE FLAG DEBATE: This happened in front of the State House in Columbia, SC today. Anti-flag demonstrators came into a debate with two men holding a replica of the flag. The state Senate voted 37-3 to remove the flag Monday. Senators will have to take a final vote Tuesday, before sending the bill to the House of Representatives.

If passed, the flag would be taken down from the monument and put on display in a museum.
