Shanice Clark was a 6-foot forward who was taking a redshirt year to work on her game. She won’t have that chance.
Just after 3 a.m. Sunday Clark was found unresponsive in her room. She was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
The Washington County coroner's office didn't release a cause of death but WWLP writes, "a preliminary report from medical personnel is that she choked on chewing gum while she slept."
