Chrysler announced Friday that it is recalling 1.4 million cars due to a security flaw that makes them vulnerable to hackers.

A Wired magazine investigation demonstrated how a security hole in the Uconnect software in many newer models makes them vulnerable to hijackers who can take control, cutting off the transmission.
Vehicle owners will get a USB stick with the software updated needed to fix the security hole.
