A 3-year-old child was fatally shot Saturday after a 7-year old found a gun inside an Ohio home, police said.
Toledo police, responding to a call of a person shot at 1 p.m., found the 3-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound, according to WTVG. The child was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
Adults were home at the time of the shooting, according to WTOL. Several people are being interviewed by authorities, according to WTVG.
Police have called the shooting an accident and continue to investigate.
