Children's book author and former first daughter Chelsea Clinton welcomed her third child Monday morning with her husband, Marc Mezvinsky.

Clinton, 39, announced the arrival of their son, Jasper Clinton Mezvinsky, in a post Monday to her 2.5 million Twitter followers.

"We are overflowing with love and gratitude and can't wait to introduce him to his big sister and brother," Clinton wrote.

Chelsea Clinton's mother, former first lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, shared the news on Twitter, writing, "Bill and I are so thrilled."

Chelsea Clinton in January announced Jasper's impending arrival in a post on Twitter.

"Marc and I have loved watching Charlotte be such a wonderful big sister and we're excited to watch Aidan become a big brother!" Clinton wrote. "We cannot wait to meet our newest addition later this summer."

Chelsea Clinton and Mezvinsky, an investment banker, wed in 2010, according to Us Weekly. They welcomed their daughter, Charlotte, in 2014, and their first son, Aidan, in 2016.
