A handler saw what was happening and rushed to help. He dropped an instrument, possibly a shovel, which hit the floor and made a loud sound, police said. That caused the camel to spook and buck.
Police said after interviewing witnesses and victims and reviewing the video, the incident appears to be an unfortunate accident.
Six children and one adult were taken to the hospital following the incident at PPG Paints Arena on Sept. 16. The most serious injury was a broken arm.
