After postponing his tour from the fall to early 2020, Chance the Rapper has now scrapped the outing completely.
The Chicago artist posted the news on his Instagram page Sunday, saying, "I'm gonna take this time to be with family, make some new music and develop my best show to date."
His reason for delaying "The Big Day" tour until January also stemmed from a desire to be with his family.
“I know it sucks and (it’s) been a lot of back and forth with reschedules and rerouting, but it’s for the best,” the rapper wrote Sunday. “I promise to come back much stronger and better in 2020 and hope to see some of you guys there.”
Chance (aka Chancelor Bennett) married his longtime girlfriend, Kirsten Corley, in March; in September, the couple welcomed their second daughter, Marli.
