A masked man has been terrorizing one Nebraska family for months, and now the family is going public with their story in hopes of capturing the suspect.
Homeowner Jim Coplin says that a man wearing a mask has repeatedly vandalized his home and car since July, KETV reports. The perpetrator has broken out windows on his car and his home, and spray-painted obscene messages about a woman who is dating Coplin's son.
The woman and her toddler live at the Coplin residence. On New Year’s Eve, two large rocks were thrown through one of the home’s windows while the child was in the room.
Some of the acts of vandalism have been captured on surveillance video.
While no one has been physically harmed during the incidents, Coplin says his family is scared to death and they all have trouble sleeping at night.
