Miracle the cat earned its name after spending a week with its head stuck in a mayonnaise jar.

The feral cat was seen running around a neighborhood with the jar stuck over its head before being captured by rescuers and having it carefully removed at a veterinary hospital.

"I saw this cat coming to eat and it had a mayo jar and I was like, 'Oh, my God!' and it ran away," Linda Ruggere, who tries taking care of some of the cats on the street, told WNEP. "The next day, I was literally able to get the mayo jar and try to get its head popped out and it ran away again."

The cat was rescued by members of Whisker's World, a nonprofit group that rescues and rehabilitates homeless felines, and taken to Pittston Animal Hospital where the jar was cut off.

Whisker’s World later released Miracle into the wild.
