CNN reported the movie franchise's star, Vin Diesel, posted a video to Instagram from the last day of shooting "Fast and Furious 9" in the U.K. Cardi B was sitting next to him outside of what looked like a trailer.

"Day 86 here on the set of 'Fast 9,'" Diesel said. "I know I'm exhausted. We all gave every single thing we could for this movie. Put it all on the table."

Cardi B said she was excited, too, but also tired from the shoot.

"I can't wait," she said. "I ain't gonna front, I think this is gonna be the best one."

Entertainment Weekly reported Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron are returning to the film and John Cena joins Cardi B as a newcomer. Their roles in the film haven't been announced.

The ninth installment of the racing and action franchise will be released in May 2020, Diesel said.
