A Virginia transit company is honoring Rosa Parks on her 103rd birthday by reserving a front seat for her on every single one of its buses.
The Greater Richmond Transit company has placed a sign on one bus seat on each bus to honor her legacy, according to a press release Wednesday.
"Ms. Parks, the 'Mother of the Civil Rights Movement,' will be honored by GRTC in a fitting tribute by reserving the first passenger seat on every GRTC bus on her birthday Thursday, February 4, 2016," the statement said.
"Each of these seats will have a commemorative sign displayed on them, honoring both Ms. Parks' legacy and her dedication to the Civil Rights Movement."
The bus drivers are also keeping their headlights on all day.
The buses' electronic header also bears a special message for Parks on her birthday.
Parks died in 2005 at 92 years old.
