A gas station clerk is being called a hero after putting an end to a kidnapping when the suspect entered his store.

The whole thing was caught on surveillance camera. The man in the video is accused of driving the woman around Philadelphia, forcing her to withdraw money from ATMs.

They entered a gas station and Manveer Komer immediately sensed something was wrong. After the suspect bought cigarettes with the woman’s credit car, the clerk stopped the woman at the door, physically putting himself between her and the suspect and told her not to leave.

The suspect eventually took off in her car.

Komer offered the woman a bottle of water as they waited for police to arrive. The woman was frightened, but unharmed thanks to the quick-thinking clerk.
