Another round of performers have been announced for the 2019 Grammy Awards, including Brandi Carlile, H.E.R., Miley Cyrus and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
The 61st annual Grammy Awards, hosted by Alicia Keys, will take place from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. PST on Sunday, Feb. 10, at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, according to a statement.
Americana singer Carlile is nominated for record of the year (“The Joke”), album of the year (“By The Way, I Forgive You”), song of the year (“The Joke”), best American roots performance (“The Joke”), best American roots song (“The Joke”) and best Americana album (“By The Way, I Forgive You”).
Singer H.E.R. is up for best new artist, album of the year (“H.E.R.”), best R&B performance(“Best Part”), best R&B song (“Focus”) and best R&B album (“H.E.R.”).
Cyrus, a past Grammy nominee, was also announced as a performer Thursday.
Grammy-winning band The Red Hot Chili Peppers will join previously announced performer Post Malone for what the Grammys said in a statement is “bound to be an unforgettable performance.”
The performers announced Thursday will join the previously announced acts, which include Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Dan + Shay, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, Janelle Monáe, and Kacey Musgraves.
