Two boys, ages 5 and 7, who got separated from their family at Kentucky's Red River Gorge campsite were found unharmed Friday afternoon.
They had been missing for about 20 hours, according to a local news report.
Nine search and rescue agencies hunted for the two cousins, who wandered off as the adults were setting up the campsite, according to another news report. Overnight temperatures were mild, the report said.
Unharmed, the boys only reported symptoms of hunger.
The parents were worried, but one of the boys, Michael, told WKYT he saw the incident as an adventure and was proud of his survival instincts despite not being old enough to join Boy Scouts.
The boys were located fairly easily because they stayed within 5 miles of the campsite, according to WKYT.
Nearly 130 people were involved with the search.
