A Utah boy has a voracious appetite for reading, but he did not have enough books.
He also did not have the money to take the bus to the local library.
So, Matthew Flores would take advertisements and newsletters out of a bin of discarded junk mail just to have something to read.
His mailman noticed the 12-year-old searching for reading material and figured he'd do something about it.
Ron Lynch reached out to his Facebook friends to help get some books for Matthew, KSL reported.

Little did he know how far the request would reach and how many books Mathew would eventually receive.
Now Matthew has an entire book case filled with books.
Reading material has been delivered from the United Kingdom, Australia and India, Lynch said.
Matthew told KSL that he will read each book and will share them with other kids.
"At 12 years old, he didn't want electronics, he didn't want to sit in front of the TV playing games all day," Lynch said. "The kid just wanted to read."
