Boy fleeing loose dogs hit by Jeep

An 11-year-old boy on a bicycle was hit by a Jeep Sunday while he was fleeing a pack of loose dogs.

The boy rode into traffic around 5:30 p.m., according to police.

The driver did stop to help the boy, according to KSAT.

The boy was taken to the intensive care unit at an area hospital.
