 The Missouri-based mother posted a Facebook video of her son cradling a blonde Chihuahua puppy with tears running down his face.

In the clip, which was shared by The Huffington Post, his mother asks him what's wrong. Zayden emotionally exclaims, "She's so beautiful."

The puppy didn't seem to mind his tears: she licked his face and wagged her tail.
