Black cat runs on field, delays Giants-Cowboys game

A black cat scampered onto the field in the second quarter during Monday night's game between the Giants and Cowboys, delaying the game briefly.

The cat scampered onto the field during a Giants drive in the second quarter and a referee delayed the game while workers at MetLife Stadium as well as a few New Jersey State Troopers guided the cat toward the end zone away from the players.

The cat eventually was herded to the end zone and then sprinted across the end line to a camera platform. It finished its run along the end line before running up the tunnel to the cheers of the big crowd.
