Bears are not an unusual sight in the Great Smoky Mountains area. They have been known to take a dip in a cabin's hot tub and even photobomb a wedding picture shoot.

But impatient bears with road rage, honking a car horn? That's unusual, even in Tennessee.

A Gatlinburg security technician was surprised Friday when he heard the horn blaring from his van and found two bear cubs locked in it, WBIR reported.

Jeff Stokely had parked his company van outside a customer's home and was working when he heard the horn, the television station reported. When the blaring sounds continued for about 20 minutes, Stokely said he went to investigate.

That's when he found the bears.

Stokely said the bears climbed in through the driver's door and locked it in the process, WBIR reported.

"I got carjacked today while I was with a customer," Stokely wrote on Facebook. "Gatlinburg is getting bad!"

Stokely, keeping an eye out for the mama bear, took a video of the cubs and then opened the back door of the van to allow the wayward cubs to escape, WBIR reported.

The cubs finally left and headed back toward the woods, the television station reported.
