They say there's no risk of it hitting Earth, but at the same time, scientists say they're not sure exactly how close that near-Earth asteroid 2013 TX68 will get when it passes by on March 8th.

Estimates range anywhere from 3 million miles to just 15,000 miles, which puts it closer than many satellites.

Even if it did hit Earth, scientists say it wouldn't be an extinction-level event, but it would be dramatic and possibly do some serious damage, depending on where it hit.
