An Arizona man is accused of uploading child pornography images of an 8-year-old girl to an online photo sharing site.
Edward Clarence Elder, 46, was arrested and charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, according to Maricopa County Court records. He is being held in lieu of $150,000 bond, according to court records.
On July 8, Mesa police said they received a tip about 27 child porn images uploaded to Flickr, KNXV reported. Police said the images depicted a man sexually abusing an 8-year-old girl, the television station reported.
Police said two images found were later identified as Elder, KNXV reported. Authorities said the images were uploaded from a computer at a residence where Elder lives, and the 27 images were also found on the phone located in the bedroom where the man lives, the television station reported.
Police said theyidentified the victim after the child's mother said she recognized the room where the photographs were taken, KNXV reported. The woman allegedly told police the room was located in an apartment where Elder lived a few years ago, the television station reported.
Elder will appear in a Maricopa County court Monday for an initial hearing, according to court records.
